Speaking to La Repubblica, the man also associated with Russian giants Zenit stated that he's happy in Florence.
"I have had an excellent relationship with the club and the fans since I first joined the club," noted the attacking wide player.
"The Della Valle family, who own the team, have always expressed great belief in my ability and have always backed me.
"I thus see no reason why I should have any intention to say goodbye to the Viola shirt for next season."
The South American, 27, joined the Tuscan giants in 2008 after two years in Sicily with Catania.
