Former Manchester United and Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze is being linked with a move to Roma this morning.
After wrapping up a deal for Jose Angel and making progress in their attempts to sign Espanyol 'keeper Idriss Carlos Kameni, the Argentine veteran seems to be the next target for La Magica.
Heinze, who can play as a left-back or in the middle, is available after Marseille announced at the start of June that he would leave the club.
The 33-year-old is vastly experienced and has won 71 caps for his country.
It is being reported that talks between club officials and the player's representative are already at an advanced stage.
