Matteo Ferrari could make a surprise return to Inter after hitting problems with Besiktas.
The former Parma, Roma and Everton defender has been in Turkey since 2009, but began his career at Inter.
He played for the Nerazzurri youth team, then the senior squad in 1996-97 and 2000-01.
Ferrari is training in Milan at the moment because he is suing Besiktas for unpaid wages.
If he wins his legal action and is freed from his contract, it's reported the ex-Italy international will sign for Inter.
Ferrari has already worked with Coach Gian Piero Gasperini during his time at Genoa.
