Dunga to sit it out

Carlos Dunga is unlikely to take charge of a Serie A club during the present campaign, his agent has confirmed.

The former Brazil boss, who left his post with the Selecao after World Cup 2010 elimination, has been linked with Fiorentina and Inter this season.

Viola tactician Sinisa Mihajlovic has had his difficulties in Florence, while there is increasing pressure on Rafael Benitez after Inter's dip in form.

"Dunga has decided to take a break from everything," Antonio Caliendo noted. "I've spoken to him and he doesn't want to think about anything until the end of December.

"He has had offers made to him, from Italian clubs and foreign ones too, but he's rejected them all.

"And there has been no offer from Inter. I personally think it would be hard to see him accept a job in the middle of a season."

Dunga, who captained his country to 1994 World Cup success, played in Italy for Pisa, Fiorentina and Pescara during his career.
