Barcelona will confirm the capture of Udinese sensation Alexis Sanchez at some stage this evening, Sky Italia claim.
The European champions have been chasing the forward all summer and an agreement is understood to have finally been reached.
According to stories emanating from Spain, the Nou Camp outfit will hand over €27m to the Udine side.
However, if bonus clauses are activated, then their total outlay could eventually reach €43m for the Chilean international.
Udinese signed Sanchez in 2006 from Cobreloa, but then loaned the youngster to Colo Colo and River Plate before recalling him in the summer of 2008.
In 111 games for the Italian outfit, he scored 21 goals in all competitions. The 22-year-old impressed last term with 12 Serie A goals in 31 games.
