Fiorentina fans have been assured that Stevan Jovetic will not be joining Napoli or any other club this summer.
The playmaker's future has been cast into doubt on Friday after Azzurri chief Aurelio De Laurentiis spoke of Jovetic as a possible replacement for Ezequiel Lavezzi.
"The boy is staying in Florence," his representative Fali Ramadani told calciomercato.it this morning.
"He's now back in action after a long injury that saw him miss all of last season. All he is thinking about is playing football.
"De Laurentiis? The President has the right to say what he wants, but we haven't spoken to anyone and we don't intend to."
The Viola signed the Montenegro international in 2008 from Partizan Belgrade. He's been made the club's new vice-captain this summer.
