Davide Lanzafame is understood to be on the verge of leaving Palermo for Sicilian rivals Catania.
The winger is set to join the Stadio Massimino outfit on a loan deal with an option to buy in 2012.
Lanzafame only returned to Palermo this summer after they won a blind auction for his full registration with Juventus.
The 24-year-old spent last term in Turin until his January move to Brescia, where he played 13 games.
The former Italian Under-21 international has also appeared for Bari and Parma during his career to date.
