Alessandro Matri is more than pleased with Juventus’ tour of America so far. “It’s been positive,” he stated.
The Old Lady are still in the US after a defeat to Sporting Lisbon and a victory against Mexican outfit Club America.
“We’ve improved our strength and speed,” the striker stated. “We’ll gradually reach the shape which will allow us to address the first important fixtures.
“Our morale is high, because even if we’ve achieved a bare victory, it’s important to acquire self-confidence.
“The outcome of this American tour is positive indeed. Apart from the very hot weather, everything has been great.”
Matri has been signed outright by the club this summer after initially joining the outfit on loan from Cagliari in January.
“As far as I’m concerned, I must give my contribution in attack, as usual, and then be at the team’s disposal when our opponents possess the ball,” he added.
“Now we’re trying to move as our Coach wants, this is the first thing to do, then everything will automatically occur.”
