Roma will target Villarreal’s Nilmar as a replacement for the soon to be sold Mirko Vucinic, according to reports.
The Italian side will release Vucinic this summer after he made it clear that he wants out of the Stadio Olimpico.
According to whispers in Italy, the Giallorossi will launch an assault for the Brazilian once Vucinic signs for a new club.
Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini knows Nilmar well seeing as he tried to sign him in the past while he was working for Palermo.
The South American, 27, joined Villarreal in 2009 from Internacional. He’s scored 29 goals in 88 games for the Spanish outfit.
