Francelino Matuzalem is ready to stay at Lazio despite reported interest from Serie A rivals Genoa.
"I heard these rumours last year too," the midfielder's agent, Umberto Fusco, told Radio Mana Mana.
"I don't know if the two clubs have spoken about it, but we certainly haven't been contacted by Genoa.
"Lazio know that the player has no intention of leaving."
The capital club have been busy in the transfer market this summer, but Fusco isn't concerned about the competition for places.
"There are no particular problems, there will be space for everyone given the club's involvement in Serie A, the Europa League and the Coppa Italia."
The Brazilian, now 31, joined the capital club in 2008 after two years in Spain with Real Zaragoza.
