Manchester City ace Carlos Tevez will play for Inter in 2011-12, reports from Argentina are suggesting.
Tevez has asked to leave the Premiership club this summer and City already have his replacement lined up in the shape of Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero.
With his hopes of a return to South America seemingly over, Tevez is now said to be considering his options in Europe.
Inter have been paired with the former Manchester United forward for months, but financing a move could be a problem.
Whispers in Argentina though are suggesting that Inter could take Tevez on loan, with the obligation to sign him outright next June.
A Tevez arrival at Inter may have a knock-on effect at San Siro with regards to the future of Diego Milito.
The latter could be asked to leave with a return to Genoa being mentioned – even if they would need Inter's assistance to finance his wages.
Milito is on a €4.5m a season deal with the Nerazzurri.
