Javier Pastore is “just hours away from sealing a deal” with his new club, said Palermo patron Maurizio Zamparini. Is it PSG or Chelsea?
The Sicilians confirmed this week they had received offers of at least €45m from both clubs and would make a decision in the next few days.
“I will only talk after the sale is completed,” Zamparini told Sky Sport Italia today.
“We're finishing it off now, so we're just hours away from sealing a deal. I can talk in a few hours.”
Paris Saint-Germain are the hot favourites, according to the Italian media, as the French side are completely rebuilding following the arrival of new investors.
They have already agreed fees for Jeremy Menez of Roma and Juventus midfielder Momo Sissoko, while PSG are also in talks for Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.
Chelsea remain an option and are very interested in the Argentine international, nicknamed ‘Flaco.'
