Kakha Kaladze won't be available to Genoa again until the beginning of 2011, the club have confirmed.
The Georgian picked up a right leg problem in last week's Coppa Italia tie against Vicenza which ruled him out of yesterday's snow draw at Brescia.
The summer signing from Milan underwent further medical tests today which illustrated the extent of the problem.
Kaladze has a second degree muscle tear which will see him miss Serie A ties against Lecce, Napoli and the derby versus Sampdoria.
If all goes to plan with his recovery, he should be available again for the game against Lazio on January 6, 2011.
