The Italian Footballers' Association has confirmed it's decision to strike over the weekend of the 11th and 12th of December.
Talks with the League regarding the renewal of the collective bargaining agreement have broken down once again.
"We are really sorry because there was an openness to negotiate on our part," said Leonardo Grosso, the Vice-President of the Italian Footballers' Association.
Juventus's trip to Lazio is the biggest game affected by the industrial action, which has been called off before.
"We are participating in a dangerous and absurd massacre," said Maurizio Beretta, the President of the League.
"The footballers' strike is an irresponsible decision and isn't based in reason."
