Coppa: Bari thump Livorno

Bari are the last side to qualify for the Fifth Round of the Coppa Italia after thrashing Livorno 4-1.

The San Nicola side are propping up the Serie A table, but rediscovered their form in the Coppa.

It was one-way traffic, partly because Livorno fielded a second string side.

Luigi Rana broke the deadlock after 25 minutes when he earned and converted a penalty.

After the break Andrea Masiello's free kick curled over the wall and into the top corner, then Emmanuel Rivas waltzed through a static Livorno defence.

Marco D'Alessandro completed the rout by redirecting Francesco Caputo's wayward effort.

In stoppages Livorno did get one back with Dionisi's tap-in, but it is Bari who go through to face Milan in the next round.

Bari 4-1 Livorno

Scorers: Rana pen 25 (B), A Masiello 51 (B), Rivas 56 (B), D'Alessandro 73 (B), Dionisi 90 (L)
