Fabrizio Miccoli had to save Palermo from an embarrassing defeat in their Europa League tie against FC Thun.
The Swiss outfit twice took the lead at the Stadio Renzo Barbera last night, only for Miccoli to strike late into injury time to ensure a 2-2 draw.
Benjamin Luthi gave Thun an early advantage in the first leg tie, only for Josip Ilicic to respond in minute 13.
Marc Schneider then made it 2-1 in the 56th minute before Palermo boss Stefano Pioli introduced substitute Miccoli.
The former Juventus player struck in the 92nd minute, but the Rosanero look like they will have to now win the second leg in order to proceed.
