Rodrigo Palacio admits there is temptation from Inter, but “I'm not mad about leaving Genoa and the transfer gossip is irritating.”
The striker was named as a target by the Nerazzurri when ex-Genoa boss Gian Piero Gasperini took over the bench this summer.
His club have said they are willing to release the Argentine, but only in exchange for Goran Pandev, who has refused the move.
“I am happy here and the transfer gossip is irritating me,” Palacio told Secolo XIX newspaper.
“I'm not mad about leaving Genoa, even if the Nerazzurri are a great side.”
It's reported Fiorentina star Alberto Gilardino could be his replacement if Palacio does leave Genoa this summer.
Other alternatives are Amauri and Antonio Floro Flores.
