Patrick Vieira is thinking about leaving Inter, as he isn't getting first team football on a regular basis.
The 33-year-old was expected to leave in the summer with former club Arsenal interested in his services.
However, he decided to stay after a chat with Jose Mourinho.
Vieira has made three starting appearances for Inter this season and that clearly isn't enough for the Frenchman who still wants to play for his country.
The discussion with Mourinho left me thinking that it was the right decision [to stay]. Instead today the situation is more complicated because I don't play, Vieira told L'Equipe.
I'll continue working. I don't want to arrive at a decision before December. If things don't change then I will make a decision. I could leave in January.
I have spoken with Domenech. My exclusion doesn't depend on the fact that I don't deserve a place in the national team, but on the fact that I don't play.
I need rhythm and games at the highest level. There are still games to play and the door is still open. I feel fine. I am training. But the most important thing is to play, Vieira concluded.
