Inter boss Gian Piero Gasperini has stated that Wesley Sneijder will play against Milan on Saturday.
While some reports in England are suggesting that the Dutchman is on his way to Manchester United, Gasperini is thinking about how to use him in the Italian Super Cup Final.
"There is no Sneijder problem," the 3-4-3 tactician told the media in Beijing. "He's playing for us, training with us and he'll play on Saturday."
Turning to the Final itself, Gasperini is keen to lift his first trophy as Inter boss following his summer arrival.
"I don't have a crystal ball, but we're here to try and win this so that Inter can take home the trophy they missed out on two years ago [in China against Lazio].
"And playing against Milan makes the event even more prestigious.
"The difference between coaching Genoa and Inter for me? The importance of the team – this is a step forward in my career."
Quizzed on the location of the Super Cup clash, Gasperini seemed to have little concerns about the testing weather conditions.
"Football is played in rain or shine, with humidity, in hot or cold weather," he continued.
"That's precisely why we came here early so that we can get used to the heat and humidity here. And in any case it will be the same for both teams.
"This game is an advert for Italian football and also for football in China."
