Alexandre Pato has committed his immediate future to Milan after reports of a possible Chelsea bid emerged.
According to transfer speculation, the London club have made a cash plus player bid for the Brazilian – £20m plus Nicolas Anelka or Salomon Kalou.
“I have a contract until 2014 and I want to respect it,” the striker said in China on Wednesday. “I don’t know yet what will happen after that.”
Pato, who could feature in Saturday’s Italian Super Cup Final against Inter, joined Milan in 2007 from Internacional.
The 21-year-old has scored 50 Serie A goals in 102 appearances for the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza outfit. He has 57 in a total of 125 games across all competitions for the Italian side.
