Edy Reja has suggested that he wouldn't stop Lazio from selling Mauro Zarate. "It's hard to keep seven strikers happy."
The capital club have boosted their attacking options this season with the captures of Djbril Cisse and Miroslav Klose.
"I don't know if Zarate is on his way out, I can't say," the tactician told Sky Sport 24.
"Zarate is a forward who we currently have, but if he was to remain then I would have decisions to make.
"We've brought in Cisse and Klose this summer, but it is difficult to keep seven strikers happy."
As well as Zarate, Cisse and Klose, Reja also has Tommaso Rocchi, Sergio Floccari, Libor Kozak and Giuseppe Sculli in his squad.
Zarate, an Argentine, has been paired with a move to Atletico Madrid after they sold Sergio Aguero to Manchester City.
