It is increasingly unlikely Dejan Stankovic will take part in the Italian Super Cup between Inter and Milan tomorrow.
The Serb was a doubt after picking up a knee problem during training this week in Beijing.
He trained separately from the rest of the squad again today, so with time running out, Stankovic is unlikely to be risked.
The game kicks off at the Bird's Nest Stadium at 13.00 UK time on Saturday and Ivan Cordoba also skipped the full training session today.
Gian Piero Gasperini's tactics could be adjusted for the Super Cup clash against Milan.
On Thursday he tested out a 3-5-1-1 system with Joel Obi and Javier Zanetti taking the wings.
Rather than act as a central midfielder, Wesley Sneijder was placed in a more advanced role as support for Samuel Eto'o.
Instead, Ricky Alvarez was pulled back to a deeper position than he usually takes for Inter.
However, other reports suggest Giampaolo Pazzini will start instead of Alvarez, moving Sneijder to a three-man midfield.
