Brazilian international Thiago Silva has committed his future to Italian champions Milan.
The centre-back has been linked with a move to Barcelona previously this summer, even though he extended his contract with the Rossoneri at the end of last season.
"I'm content here, I'm happy, I have a contract until 2016 and I'll stay," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport on Monday.
"Only after that time will we see what happens because you just never know in football."
Milan have started the season well after they added the Italian Super Cup to last term's Scudetto success.
"We played with some fear in the first half against Inter," Thiago Silva said of Saturday's 2-1 win over Inter in China.
"Then boss Massimiliano Allegri walked into the changing room at the break and reminded us that we won the Scudetto last term.
"He told us that we could turn the game around."
