Matias Silvestre has completed his move to Palermo from rivals Catania. “I will give my all for this jersey.”
The Argentine defender made the switch between Sicilian sides this week and will hold his presentation Press conference on Thursday.
“I am very happy and can't wait to get started training with my new teammates,” said Silvestre.
“I already know Nicolas Bertolo and Gabriel Munoz from our days together at Boca Juniors. They are my friends and will help me settle in right away.
“I promise to give my all for the Palermo jersey every time I step on to the field.”
Silvestre has chosen shirt number 3 and put pen to paper on a four-year contract.
As part of the same deal, Davide Lanzafame has moved from Palermo to Catania in a co-ownership agreement.
