Newly promoted Novara are showing an interest in Honduran international David Suazo.
The veteran striker is available on a free transfer after his contract at Italian giants Inter expired in June.
Suazo was set to return to Cagliari this summer after joining the Rossoblu for pre-season training.
However, he then clashed with President Massimo Cellino who subsequently pulled the plug on the deal.
Suazo scored 102 goals in 276 games in all competitions for Cagliari during his eight-year stint with the Rossoblu.
He netted eight goals in just 28 Serie A appearances for Inter during his problematic four years with the Nerazzurri. He also had loan spells at Benfica and Genoa during that time.
The forward will celebrate his 32nd birthday in November.
