Manchester United have brought an end to their pursuit of Inter star Wesley Sneijder, according to reports.
The Premiership giants have spent most of the summer tracking the Dutch international given his uncertain future.
Inter were prepared to sell the midfielder and United were also ready to offer over £30m, but the proposed move has now collapsed.
According to speculation, United were unwilling to meet the player's wage demands which were thought to be approaching £10m a year.
Sneijder is now set to stay with the Nerazzurri, especially as the Italian outfit are close to selling Samuel Eto'o to Russian club Anzhi.
