British media claim Juventus are stepping up their bid to sign Chelsea defender Alex for around £7.5m.
The Brazilian was already the subject of an offer last month, said to be worth £7m, but that was rejected.
According to The Sun, Juve directors will fly out to London on Tuesday to hold intensive negotiations.
They hope that by raising the offer by £500,000, it will be enough to convince Chelsea to part with the 29-year-old.
Alex has also been linked with Luciano Spalletti's Zenit St Petersburg and Real Madrid, as Jose Mourinho first signed him at Stamford Bridge in 2007.
