Milan continue to deny their interest in bringing Kaka back to San Siro, but the Real Madrid man could complete his comeback in late August.
Vice-President Adriano Galliani insists the Rossoneri cannot have Kaka back for a second stint in Serie A due to his wages and any huge transfer fee that would come along with him.
The media in both Italy and Spain believe a deal is possible, but only in the final hours of the summer transfer market.
It's believed this time will give Kaka a chance to evaluate his position within the Real Madrid ranks.
If he doesn't start any of the first four games of the season, including both Cup meetings with Barcelona, Kaka could request a transfer to Milan.
A loan is also possible, which would be a big step down considering Madrid paid £56m for the Brazilian in 2009.
