Giorgio Chiellini celebrates his 27th birthday and feels Juventus “have so much enthusiasm this season. It motivates us all.”
The Bianconeri will inaugurate their new stadium with a friendly against Notts County, the club that inspired their club colours in 1903, on September 8.
Last night they played in Salerno with a 0-0 draw against Spaniards Real Betis Sevilla.
“We are working intensely to put into practice everything the Coach asks of us, so we can start the campaign well. We want to be protagonists this term,” wrote Chiellini on his official website.
“I am about to begin my seventh season with the Bianconeri. It was a real disappointment not to take part in last night's friendly, but I am still recovering from a knock I picked up on Wednesday against Spain.
“I can't wait to play in our new home. I haven't been there since the restructuring work began, so I am truly curious to see and experience the old Stadio Delle Alpi area. I can only imagine the atmosphere for fans and players!
“We feel so much enthusiasm around us this season and it motivates us all.”
