Italian World Cup winner Angelo Peruzzi is being associated with a director's role at Italian club Roma.
The former goalkeeper, who is currently an assistant to Italian Under-21 boss Ciro Ferrara, is apparently wanted by capital sporting director Walter Sabatini.
Despite Peruzzi's past as a Lazio player, where he appeared for seven Serie A seasons, he actually started his career with the Giallorossi.
The custodian was just 17-years-old when he made his Serie A debut for the club against Milan back in December 1987.
Sabatini knows the former Juventus and Inter player well given their time together at Lazio during the official's spell there.
Peruzzi won't join boss Luis Enrique's technical staff, but will work closely between the club's directors, the squad and the fans.
It's unclear whether he will also continue in his current role with the Azzurrini.
