Roma boss Luis Enrique insists he has no regrets about the side he picked following the 1-0 loss at Slovan Bratislava in the Europa League.
Marco Borriello and Francesco Totti started on the bench as the Giallorossi surprisingly lost the first leg encounter.
"I chose the 11 players who I considered to be the best for this game," the Spanish tactician noted. "I have no regrets about the decisions that I made."
The Italian side had the majority of possession and did have a number of opportunities to take the lead, before conceding with 10 minutes left.
"In the first half we created numerous chances and they never got close to our goal, but we weren't cool enough to finish off the opportunities," the tactician added.
"We were convinced that we could win at half-time, but we can't think about this now. When you fall you have to pick yourself up.
"The result is a disaster, but I saw a good Roma against a side who sat back. We didn't manage to win at Bratislava, let's hope we do so next Thursday.
"The return leg is now a little more complicated and we'll need the support of our fans."
