Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has refused to rule out bids for Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Simon Kjaer.
The Italian club have been linked with the Espanyol striker and the Wolfsburg defender in recent weeks.
"Osvaldo is a possibility, but he is not the only one," the transfer guru noted after the club sold Mirko Vucinic to Juventus.
"As for the defence, we are looking at a few things. Everyone is talking about Kjaer and he is a player that I know well from our time together at Palermo.
"However, let us just wait and see what happens."
While the official kept the door open for those two players, he locked it when asked about the possibility of an Antonio Cassano swoop.
"I don't know Cassano personally," Sabatini added. "I admire him as a player, but he certainly won't be joining us at Roma."
There were reports that the Milan man could rejoin the Olimpico outfit in a swap deal with Marco Borriello.
