Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri is unconcerned with defeats to Inter and Juventus in the Trofeo TIM.
The Italian champions finished bottom of the three-team tournament on Thursday after suffering a 2-1 loss to Juve and a 1-0 reverse to their city rivals.
"I'm happy with what the boys did in terms of their fitness and the style of play," the tactician noted.
"We conceded avoidable goals, but it was important to see what shape we are in and I'd say we are there."
Milan are next in action on Sunday when they will host Juventus during the annual Trofeo Berlusconi match at San Siro.
"We'll have to see how things go ahead of the Berlusconi Cup tie," the Coach added. "I only have Antonio Cassano available in attack, but we'll play somehow.
"I'm happy with what Antonio did, he's growing in condition and he's a very important player for us."
The former Cagliari boss also commented on the performance of Taye Taiwo, the left-back brought in from Marseille over the summer.
"Taiwo did well, even if he made some mistakes. He has to improve like everybody else, he needs to understand Italian football and the language, but he's on the right path.
"I'm happy with my players. I thank the President and the club for the squad they have built and the champions that we have."
