Juventus midfielder Sergio Almiron is on the verge of joining the Argentine contingent at Catania.
The Old Lady will sell the midfielder this summer and an understanding with the Sicilian club has almost been reached.
"We are very close to finalising the operation," agent Claudio Vagheggi told itasportpress.it on Monday.
"We just need Juventus to give the green light and that shouldn't be too far away. Almiron will be happy to play for Catania."
Almiron, 30, has been on Juve's books since his 2007 switch from Empoli. Since then he's been loaned out to Monaco, Fiorentina and Bari.
