There is good news for Milan ahead of their trip to Cagliari after Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Kevin Prince Boateng and Stephan El Shaarawy returned to training.
Ibra was a doubt for the Serie A opener on Saturday because of an ankle problem, while Boateng was struggling with a calf issue.
However, the duo took part in Tuesday's morning training session at Milanello and are hoping to prove their fitness.
Teenager El Shaarawy is fully operational again too after undergoing a personalised training programme in recent weeks.
