Sergio Almiron is on the verge of finally completing a move from Juventus to Catania.
The Argentine has been told to find a new club by the Turin giants and the Stadio Massimino outfit are in pole position to net him.
"I should see Catania director Pietro Lo Monaco later today or tomorrow," agent Claudio Vagheggi told Itasportpress.it.
"Everything could be resolved in the space of 24 hours and an official announcement will be made just as soon as Juve accept Catania's offer."
Almiron, 30, has been on Juve's books since his 2007 switch from Empoli. Since then he's been loaned out to Monaco, Fiorentina and Bari.
Palermo were said to be interested in the South American.
