Chievo have insisted that they won't sell Stefano Sorrentino to Palermo before the transfer window closes.
The Rosanero have made an offer for the goalkeeper, but the Stadio Bentegodi outfit say he's going nowhere.
"We have informed Palermo that the player is staying with us and will not be moving," Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartori noted.
"No offer from the Rosanero has even been taken into consideration."
It's understood that the Sicilian outfit have bid €2.5m for the shot-stopper, but the Verona club value him as high as €4m.
"I don't know if a bigger offer will be tabled," continued the official to Mediagol.
"As it stands today, I can say that Sorrentino will be remaining here at Chievo Verona. I'm not interested in anything else."
