Cesare Bovo insists that he was convinced to rejoin Genoa after the club made it very clear that they wanted him.
The defender completed his loan move to the outfit from Palermo this week three years after making the opposite switch.
"I'm delighted to be here again," the 28-year-old centre-back told reporters.
"I decided to return because Genoa showed a real desire to sign me and I have some good memories of this city."
The former Italian Under-21 international was allowed to leave the Stadio Barbera after the Sicilian outfit signed Matias Silvestre from Catania.
