Massimo Moratti has confirmed “Diego Forlan is resolving his problems” for the move to Inter, but ruled out Mauro Zarate and Carlos Tevez.
The President spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of tonight's hastily-organised friendly with Chievo.
“I think Forlan is resolving his problems with Atletico Madrid. We'll see what happens over the next few hours,” said Moratti.
“As for Juraj Kucka, we are talking to Genoa about him. However, when it comes to Zarate and Tevez, I doubt for the moment there is a chance they could come to us.”
The Nerazzurri patron was also asked about renewed reports Wesley Sneijder could leave San Siro.
“No, he is staying with us.”
Samuel Eto'o was sold for €27m this week and scored on his debut for Anzhi.
“There is great affection and respect for him, for all he won for us, his professional behaviour and acting as a real leader in our team.
“He had this opportunity and wanted to take it, but we are tied to him, just as he feels close to us, both the club and fans.”
