Delio Rossi has rejected reports that he is being lined up to replace boss Stefano Pioli at Palermo.
The tactician left the Stadio Barbera in the summer, but there are suggestions that he may be on the verge of a sensational return.
Pioli has struggled in Sicily since his arrival from Chievo and he's already under the threat of being axed by President Maurizio Zamparini.
"I'm in London right now and I know nothing about these reports," the former Lazio Coach told Rete Rete 24.
"I don't really talk about ifs and buts, I only comment on concrete possibilities.
"At this moment in time, a possible return to Palermo for me is just journalistic talk. Nobody has contacted me from Palermo."
Rossi is presently out of work, but he admits that he's been approached by a number of different clubs.
"I have had contact with other sides," he admitted. "We'll just have to wait and see whether anything develops from it."
Rossi has also been paired with Roma given that new boss Luis Enrique is under intense pressure.
Both Palermo and Roma have already been knocked out of the Europa League this term.
