Serie A minnows Cesena have confirmed the capture of Jorge Martinez from Juventus.
The Uruguayan passed his medical with the club this morning before putting pen to paper on a one-year deal.
Martinez has joined the outfit on a 12-month loan. It's understood that the Old Lady are still paying a part, if not all, of his wages.
The South American joined Juve last summer at a cost of €12m from Catania, but he endured a problematic and injury-hit campaign.
Martinez appeared in just 14 Serie A games for the Bianconeri, for a total of only 563 minutes.
He'll begin training with his new teammates at the Centro Sportivo di Villa Silvia from tomorrow.
