Marco Borriello has confirmed that he will remain at Roma despite being transfer listed by the outfit.
"I'm returning to the capital to resume training with Roma," he told Sky Sport Italia. "I'm, therefore, not leaving the club."
The Giallorossi only completed his forced €10m signing from Milan this summer after last term's loan.
However, boss Luis Enrique then made him available for transfer given that he doesn't really fit in with the tactician's 4-3-3 tactics.
The Italian striker was subsequently linked with Genoa, Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray, but no switch seems imminent on deadline day.
Roma signed striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo from Espanyol earlier this week, while they are also interested in Parma forward Fabio Borini.
