Italy boss Cesare Prandelli is hoping the Azzurri can wrap up qualification for Euro 2012 in his beloved Florence on Tuesday.
The Azzurri are just two wins away from a place at the European Championships as they prepare to take on the Faroe Islands on Friday and Slovenia on Tuesday.
"To ensure qualification in Florence would be magical," he told RAI. "It would be a small dream come true."
The tactician spent five years at Fiorentina, where he enjoyed an excellent relationship with the fans, before taking the Italy job in 2010.
Italy have already played a tie in Florence under Prandelli when they defeated the Faroe Islands 5-0 on September 7 last year.
