Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has incredibly accused Javier Pastore's agent of “extortion” over the transfer to PSG.
The Argentine completed his €40m move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer amid interest from Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus, Napoli, Inter and Milan.
However, Zamparini is reportedly taking Pastore's agent, Marcelo Simonian, to court for ‘extortion' in the negotiations.
“I don't want to talk too much about this affair and in fact I'm surprised it came out in the open,” Zamparini told Telecolor.
“Put simply, we can sum up the situation as ‘if you don't give me this, then I won't sign.' I was hoping to keep it quiet, because in the football world there tends to be chaos.”
The Palermo President alleges Simonian and the Dieci Football Corporation wanted a far larger cut of the transfer than the original €12.5m and would reject PSG unless these conditions were met.
