Edinson Cavani is convinced that his Napoli side will be a major player in the 2011-12 campaign. "We have what it takes."
The Azzurri were one of the surprise sides of last term when they briefly challenged for the title before ending the campaign in third.
"Some important players have arrived at this club over the summer," said the Uruguayan international.
"The President and the Coach moved well during the window to carry out an excellent transfer campaign.
"We have everything that is required to dispute a great championship. And with our fans, it will be impossible to not do well."
Cavani, signed a year ago from Palermo, was a major reason behind their success in the previous campaign.
He scored 26 goals in 35 Serie A games, helping the Stadio San Paolo outfit qualify for the Champions League.
"I fear no one," he said given that they'll face Bayern Munich, Villarreal and Manchester City in the competition.
"I don't fear City's champions and I played in the Copa America. All games start with 11 players against 11."
Napoli will take on Roberto Mancini's side in Manchester on Wednesday.
