Mario Beretta has been officially appointed as the new Brescia boss following the sacking of Beppe Iachini.
Beretta was seen as the favourite to succeed the former Chievo tactician after he was forced out this afternoon.
Beretta, formerly of Parma and Siena, has signed a contract up until the end of the season.
Brescia are in relegation trouble given that they are just two points above bottom of the table Bari.
