Abel Hernandez has hailed Uruguayan teammate Diego Forlan ahead of their Serie A meeting this weekend.
Hernandez's Palermo host Inter on Sunday in a game which Forlan could make his debut in following his switch from Atletico Madrid.
"I fear Forlan," the young striker told Sky Sport Italia. "He's my international colleague and I know what he can do.
"Saying that, I'm happy that he has come to Italy. I've not spoken to him yet, but I'll send him a message before the weekend."
Hernandez is considered as Forlan's heir in their homeland, but the Rosanero hopeful insists he has much to learn.
"Forlan is a much better player than I am," he added. "In my opinion, he, alongside Luis Suarez, is the best Uruguayan player there is."
Inter and Palermo meet in the Sunday night game, kick-off 20.45 local time.
