Mirko Vucinic was mugged of a designer watch worth €20,000 just before the new Juventus stadium was inaugurated.
The striker was reportedly walking through the south of Turin on Thursday morning when two men on a moped drove up and stole the watch.
The Montenegro international's attempts to fight off the muggers failed and they sped away.
It is believed the watch was worth around €20,000 and police are now investigating.
Vucinic recovered from his scare and was at the inauguration ceremony for the new Juventus stadium on Friday evening.
