Giuseppe Sannino makes his Serie A debut at the helm of Siena and immediately has a relegation dogfight with Catania.
The former Varese Coach was drafted in to replace Antonio Conte following promotion from Serie B over the summer.
“We are playing against a very aggressive and technically-gifted team who make unity one of their main strengths,” said Sannino.
“Plus they have so many South Americans and we know the determination they pour on to the field!
“I have no particular expectations, but would like to see the right mentality and hunger to do well from my players. Am I nervous about my debut? No, I'm focused on the game.
“We know that we're playing in a fiery atmosphere. There won't be many fans following us all the way to Sicily, but we're confident they'll make their voices heard.”
Sannino adopts a 4-4-2 system and is expected to choose Emanuele Calaiò in attack, partnered by either Mattia Destro or Pablo Gonzalez.
