Andrea Pirlo is the only Italian player worthy of a place in the Barcelona side, says Parma boss Franco Colomba.
Pirlo impressed on his Juventus debut on Sunday as he masterminded the Bianconeri's 4-1 victory over Colomba's Gialloblu.
"His qualities have been enhanced," the tactician told Radio Sportiva in an interview on Tuesday.
"Pirlo, right now, is the only Italian player who could make it into the Barcelona side.
"He's the kind of player who makes less than one bad pass a game. He's a sight for sore eyes in Turin."
The veteran Italian midfielder, who won the World Cup with Italy in 2006, joined the Old Lady in the summer on a free transfer following a decade at Milan.
